The Njoya Foundation was set up in memory of Christian Njoya Small, a victim of the terrorist bombings which took place in London, on 7 July 2005. The Njoya foundation aims to strive to empower children of African descent through education that enables them to excel. We take the security of our website and your data extremely seriously. As such, the information below is provided sets out our Data Protection Privacy Statement and our Data Protection Privacy Policy. Data Protection Privacy Statement The
Njoya Foundation is committed to meeting its obligations under the Data
Protection Act of 1998. The Njoya Foundation will strive to observe
the law in all collection and processing of subject data and will meet
any subject access request in compliance with the law. The Njoya Foundation
will only use data in ways relevant to carrying out its legitimate purposes
and functions as a charity in a way that is not prejudicial to the interests
of individuals. The Njoya Foundation will take due care in the collection
and storage of any sensitive data. The Njoya Foundation staff will do
their utmost to keep all data accurate, timely and secure. The Data Protection Officer will keep records of all complaints by data subjects and the follow them up. The Data Protection Officer will also keep a record of all data access requests. There will be a repository of all The Njoya Foundation statements of Data Protection Law compliance and information about any contacts made with the Data Protection Registrar. This information will be available to staff and data subjects on request. The Njoya Foundation will inform subjects of any processing, disclosure or overseas transfer that does not fall within The Njoya Foundations purpose in a way that any individual supplying could be expected to understand. to us, we are legally obliged by the Data Protection Act 1998 to ensure
that the information you have provided is only used for the purpose for
which it was requested, and to ensure that the data is kept securely.
Please note that out Privacy statement/policy does not apply to companies.
The
Njoya Foundation only collects personal information about you (for
example your name, address, telephone number, email address and credit
card details) when you specifically provide us with such information on
a voluntary basis. Any personal information we collect via our web site
will never be released or sold to any companies or individuals outside
of the Njoya Foundation or our authorised partner companies. If you have provided us with sufficient information, we will provide you with a full reply within 40 days of us receiving your request. If you do not provide us with sufficient information, the Data Protection Officer will write to you as soon as possible.
